| If the surfacers have effective spies, they know the plan ic - otherwise it is a surprise attack. It is posted to get maximum participation possible and so players who do not want to get swept up in the tide of battle know went to watch out. The target and specifics of the offensive have not been posted - so unless your character has been briefed ic, you do not know about it (unless you were doing something naughty like eavesdropping .) | |
